Rises as a Dominant Player in India’s Solar Irrigation Industry
Koraam New Energie powered by Kosol Energie has obtained a notable work order through Component B of the PM-KUSUM B Scheme from different nodal agencies, which includes the provision of 5,500 pumps. The overall order amount is ₹186 crores excluding GST, with the company mainly securing an order for 3,000 pumps from the Magel Tyala Saur Pump Yojana in Maharashtra. Of this total, 2,200 pumps have been installed, indicating significant progress for the company in the renewable sector and creating further opportunities for their additional activities, including module supply, large-scale EPC projects, and domestic and C&I solar initiatives. Koraam New Energie has nearly doubled its results compared to the last fiscal year.
These numbers indicate Koraam’s increasing presence and rising confidence among farmers across India. It has additionally become a channel partner in regions such as Haryana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Leh–Ladakh. Koraam is also set to introduce new items for farmers, including solar-powered milk chillers, solar dryers, and solar refrigeration storage.
