Quote from Industry leaders—
Businesses survive not only on new customers but it is also necessary for every business to have loyal customers, too. Customers would return to your organization only if they are satisfied with your products and services. Make sure the end-user is happy with your product. Remember, a customer would be happy and satisfied only when your product meets his expectations and fulfils his needs. Yes, you might save some money by ignoring quality management processes but ultimately lose out on your major customers, resulting in huge losses. Quality management ensures that you deliver products as per promises made to the customers through various modes of promotions.
As per ISO family standards, it defines quality as: “management system to direct and control an organization with regard to quality”. In other words, a Quality Management System is “a set of interrelated or interacting processes used to guide and lead an organization so that its products or services meet the established requirements”.
Specifically, the Quality Management System focuses on the processes of the organization, customer and continuous improvement ensuring increased revenues and higher productivity for the organization. Quality management helps organizations to reduce waste and inventory.
But with the growing times, ecological responsibility has also become one of the important aspects of any industry along with quality management. As awareness among people is on the rise regarding ecological safety, they are resorting to products which are safer to the environment and their health too.
Keeping this in mind, the world is celebrating ‘World Quality Week’ ( 8-12 Nov. 2021) with respect to the theme– “Sustainability: improving our products, people and planet“. And here, we bring to you the opinions of the industry leaders who believe the same.
“Quality” is no more, just a word, it is a vital characteristic of every business today. It defines business reputation and builds trust amongst the customers. Quality is not about meeting industry standards, or about the products, solutions and services, it’s about delivering satisfaction to the customer each time you deal with them.”
